My contactperson does not know Belastingdienst filetransfer exists

You know Belastingdienst filetransfer exists, either through umbrella organisations, earlier experiences or other channels, and you want to use it to safely exchange files with the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. Your Dutch Tax and Customs Administration contact might not be aware of the existence of Belastingdienst filetransfer or even mentions that this is not allowed. As the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, we inform our employees about the facilities provided to them, however this situation can occur. In this case you can inform the employee as follows:

  • Refer your contact to the page you are currently reading ("My contactperson does not know Belastingdienst filetransfer exists").
  • Refer your contact to the page "Mailen met de Belastingdienst", this also formally refers to Belastingdienst filetransfer as an option to exchange information.
  • You can ask the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration employee to search the intranet of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration for the phrase "Belastingdienst filetransfer" to get internal specific information on Belastingdienst filetransfer.
The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration employee will need to review the information first since you are not able to use Belastingdienst filetransfer until the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration employee initiates an up- or download request (for further information, see "What is Belastingdienst filetransfer and how does it work?").
